Description

It's hard to avoid building muscle as a rider and Q'll has certainly filled out in his early adulthood. Tall, lean, and with just a hint of coltishness remaining in his long-limbed figure, he is every bit the cocky young adult he showed promise of becoming. His shaggy mop of dark hair remains long and curled enough to fall wildly over his warm brown eyes, and his features could still do with a little more refinement to be considered classically handsome, but there's a certain air to him - whether it's the flash in his eyes, the dimples in freckle-dusted his cheeks, or the scar that marks his tanned skin just below his right cheekbone - that lends charm to his perpetually boyish looks.
History
Quillan comes from a typical Weyrborn background; son of a greenrider, fathered by a bluerider during a flight. They weren't weyrmates then but in raising Quillan together they realised there was the potential for something more between them, and so they ended up living together by the time he turned four. He was always a little sheltered by his overbearing mother, but by the time he hit his teen years he tried to rebel by joining a Craft. The Minecraft, to be exact. And his speciality? Explosives: chosen specifically to tell his mother that 'hey, I'm a big boy now and I can blow things up'. He started off apprenticed to a specialist in Igen Weyr (mummy pulled strings for that to happen), and so he lived at home but headed out to work from the Weyr every day.
When his career within the Craft began to progress, though, Quillan had the opportunity to apprentice to someone a little further afield - and without waiting for mummy's approval, he transferred to Xanadu to begin living a life beyond his maternal shadow. It wasn't necessarily the best move for his progression towards his journeyman's knot, though, as Quillan soon found himself accepting a white knot from Kiena, to stand for Kairoikyriath and Saburath's clutch - the ultimate rebellion against his mother, in his books.
And man, what a rebellion it would prove to be! At the end of possibly the most destructive and bloody Hatching in the history of Pern, Quillan limped away as Q'll, chosen by bronze Qhynnveslacth, who sunk his claws into a little more than just the boy's robe.

Celebrity is as Celebrity Does Bronze Qhynnveslacth
Lean of frame from nose to tail, this bronze is splendidly well-proportioned for a dragon of his size, bearing just enough muscle so as not to appear gaunt, but not so much as to seem stocky, either. Dark, burnished bronze flows over his svelte hide, the color fading to duskier shades along proud shoulders and lithe, toned limbs. He is not a bronze that flashes and glitters - instead, he possesses a dignified shimmer that is somehow attractive and alluring at once. A pale, matte shade of bronze fades along the arch of his neck and chest, becoming almost silvered along his throat and again just around his wrists and ankles, a subtle change in hue that complements rather than distracts from his overall perfected look. Touches of flax and brass sweep and curl along his forehead and head knobs, lending a boyish, charming air to his otherwise handsome features. He carries himself with pride and confidence and even his wings, just a stitch too long, seem to suit rather than encumber him, held smartly and comfortably against his sides.
He hatched from…
Ignorance is Strength Egg
This egg is small and unremarkable, with no bright colors to give it any sort of distinction from the rest. Indeed, the entire shell seems to have been bathed in a shade of grey which mutes the reds and yellows that speckle between dulled black lines. If looked at more closely, those black lines almost seem to form the shape of small squares, the reds and yellows coloring each one like miniature posters. Their meaning is unclear — after all, this is just an egg — but the strange shapes formed by those primary colors are bold and seem to declare /something/. But even more strange, if one looks closely, there seems to be a shape that looks distinctly like an eye amidst all of that propaganda. But it couldn't be, could it? This is egg is just an egg. (Big Brother is Watching You.)
Firelizards
Green Cos
Serpentine and sleek, this green firelizard looks rather longer than her actual size. Her hide is a positively effervescent hue of peacock green-blue, lurid and lively with sparks and bubbles of brilliance scattered over her slippery curves. Her eyes are wide and her muzzle is narrow, hewn into a visage of curiosity. The rest of her is lean in build, with insect-like iridescence lending even more depth to her seemingly spare physique. Her wings, however, are the real show-stopper; the brilliantly green sails are adorned with flecks of gilded brilliance that gather at the trailing edges and appear to float upward to the leading edge.
Credits: The theme was "Things you don't want" for the eggs and "Things you want" for the hatchlings - courtesy of Shay! All of the descriptions and whatnot are done by Rezia. For this one in particular, the DO NOT WANT was a gross mishmash of plant material… but who wouldn't want a world-saving panacea? As for the particulars of personality and so forth - well. Consider this one a plant-loving sort that will be especially good at finding wild numbweed plants - and other curatives, for that matter. Or do whatever you like! She's all yours! :D
Blue Perry
Misty periwinkle clouds condense into the airy, etherial form of this blue firelizard. Subtle blue-gray darkens the hollows of the sylphic build where soft muscles pillow into fluffy clouds kissed by faint golden hints on the high points. As he moves, cobalt blue lightning races across his hide. The strikes flash bright and swift but fade rapidly into the cloudscape. He has a long, narrow build with rolling smooth curves rather than sharp angles. His wings seem almost too fragile for flight. The sails are the palest shade of periwinkle floating effortlessly from the spindle thin spar bones. A faintly iridescent cobalt lace clings to their underside to be seen only when he's in flight.
Credits: Bold as brash is this energetic blue. He is endlessly curious about each and every thing and will constantly be into something. Any closed door or box must have something good in it and so he's going to do his best to get inside. Though not particularly smart, he can be rather clever, especially at opening things. And his favorite thing to find? Food! Be careful he doesn't get too plump!
The theme of the clutch was the elements. Your 'lizard egg and hatchling are based on the element air. His egg is a winter breeze. His hatchling desc is a sylph, an air elemental in this case composed of clouds. In the end, he's yours and you should do as you wish with him.
Janja, with thanks from S'u for the egg.
