Jason is in his late teens and stands at just over six feet tall. He has green eyes and dark brown, slightly curly hair that hangs past his shoulders, except for the sides and back of his head which are shaved. Turns of playing around nearby tropical beaches and working various outdoor jobs has darkened his islander complexion and given him a strong athletic build.
He's wearing a blue and black t-shirt, faded hide pants and worn work boots. When he's wearing a coat, the knots of Xanadu Weyr and Dragonhealing might be seen.
History
Jason was born at Paradise River Sea Hold to Journeywoman Khelani who was posted there from Dolphineers Hall. His father, Mason, was a guard at the Hold. One night when Jason was four turns old, Mason was trying to break up a fight between two very drunk men. He ended up getting a couple of deep stab wounds to his gut and side, and passed away the next day. Khelani took his death hard and after a couple of months she needed a change of scenery. So she packed up her and Jason's belongings and took a ship back to Dolphineers Hall. The slow pace allowed her dolphin partner an enjoyable adventure while the sea voyage let Khelani have a few days to clear her head. Over the turns Khelani was posted to various water-front Holds, some stays while others lasted longer, and recalled back to Hall for one reason or another.
While he grew up in lots of different places, Jason spent most of his childhood splashing around Dolphin Hall. Then shortly after his thirteenth Turnday Jason wanted to start making his own way and Khelani agreed, with set conditions that is. So he moved to Xanadu Weyr. He wasted no time in making himself useful and finding work. Some jobs didn't last long, others would be seasonal and would come and go, then come back again the next Turn. Sometimes he juggles two or three jobs at a time. Scrubbing pots or floors, hauling food from kitchen to cavern, gardening and landscaping, Nanny work in the lower caverns chasing after or cleaning littles, mucking the runnerbeast stables or tending the herdbeast pens…. Jason's done that and more, but he prefers working out under the sun with a fresh breeze.
During his fourteenth turn he became very interested in Dragonhealing and soon became a Grade 1 Dragonhealer. At first his work was on the clumsy side, but his skills got much better with each dragon. Soon he as drawing fluids, bandaging wounds, vaccinating or helping with stitching like a Grade 3 mentor No'len, almost. He puts just as much effort in learning Dhealing skills as he does with his various jobs. A couple of sevendays after his seventeenth Turnday, Jason earned the rank of Grade 2 Dragonhealer.
So that's Jason's life so far. He works multiple jobs, studies Dragonhealing, practices his skills under Mentor No'len's guidance and finds entertainment where he can.

Staid in Sepia Brown Gaston
Stately, solid and staid, this brown is elegantly appointed in swathes of sepia. Austere angles shape the grim lines of his face, haughty disapproval writ in the perpetually tight line of maw and dipping, dark eyeridges. At least his bejeweled eyes could capture maiden hearts! …were it not for the slow crawl of contempt that keeps the whorl of color to a sedate and respectable pace no matter his mood. Shadow and light tailor the sweep of sepia, dutifully delineating each and every well-formed feature from nostril to tail-tip in a way that is at once designed to overawe and underwhelm. His build and bearing is the stuff dreams are made of! Yet, he is only all a brown should be and nothing more. Bland, really. Boring, almost. Unless… There might be more to this paragon of predictable perfection than meets the eye.
THANK YOU Tir'dyn and Orrion!!!
