Fun in the Garden

Xanadu Weyr - Garden

garden.jpg

An arch woven from the tendrils of a willow tree stretches overhead lightly creeping with ivy as one steps in from the meadow into this sanctuary of green. Cool gray flagstone carefully spaced enables a soft velvety moss to thrive within the cracks, and creates a single wide pathway that fluidly breaks off into two paths of stone once free of the natural arbor. It is a wonder this place, and meticulously tended from the way it seems not a single leaf is out of place. On either side of the main path expansive grassy patches are trimmed short and edged behind with natural tan colored stone selectively chosen to stack just right. Beyond these are a line of fine puffed shrubberies in vibrant green intermingled with flowering bushes of brilliant pinks varying in hue from the very light to the very dark, which causes the occasional snowy white blossoms of other scattered here and there without worry to simply pop out of the scenery.

Directly in the center of the garden is another wall of intricately stacked stone, this of muted grays, creating what from the air would prove to be a perfect circle. It's been set high for safety, but not so much as one would not be able to lean over it to admire what lies beyond, either standing or sitting at the smattering of benches whose backs are set every four feet along it. Flush to the ground inside it's protective stone outcropping, is an enormous twenty foot wide fish pond. Within one can glean the metallic glint of playful goldfish, the unhurried cruise of fat koi, and even a frog or three among pale yellow and white flowering water lilies and their thick green pads.

The trees surrounding the entire garden were planted to give the impression that they had always been here, not only lending to a rustic look, but also eluding to the beauty that can be found among the wilds if only one might just look for it. Species vary from the ordinary Birch and Pine, but the flaming red capsules of the Indian Shot to the robust orange spokes of the Firewheel tree suggest the spice of the exotic. The two paths leading away from the entrance have come full circle, wrapping around to meet each other on the other side, yet still continue on to the far left and right. One path leads off deeper into the surrounding woods, while the other wider; cheerily decorated with brightly colored slabs of painted stones.

Karashi sits near the pond, she trails her fingers through the cool water. She laughs as the koi and goldfish suck at her fingertips. It's mid afternoon as Karashi enjoys her free time in the garden, Katsu sits near Karashi and peers into the water, he stares and chirps at his own reflection in the water curious to know who it is. A splash distracts Karashi and she turns her head to Katsu as he flails in the water. "Katsu you're a silly boy" she laughs softly as she scoops him from the cool water.

With Dhonzayth settled on the Sands with Avaeth, guarding their clutch of 12 eggs, L'ton has found himself with a few rare hours to himself. Hours which he has decided to spend somewhere out of the way - leading him to retreat to the gardens, where he's meandering. Passing by the pond, he grins a little, before speaking up. "Sorry, miss, Ah didn't mean ta intrude. Guess Ah didn't hear all the splashing.."

Karashi turns around to see a rider she is not familiar with, a sopping wet Katsu in her hands. "Oh you're not intruding, not at all" she allows the wet Katsu to crawl onto her chest his wet body partially soaks her shirt as he clings, but it gives her free hands. "I'm Karashi, Journeywoman Healer" she holds her hand out in introduction.

"L'ton, bronze Dhonzayth's of Ista.." He says with a grin, shaking her hand, before turning it over to politely kiss the back of it. "Sweets.. yer all wet now.." He says then, as he glances at the firelizard, shaking his head. "Good way ta catch a cold, wet shirt and all… Ya want my jacket fer a bit?" He offers, with a tilt of his head.

Karashi smiles back sweetly, "I'll dry, it's not too wet" she fans her wet shirt as Katsu perches on her shoulder wings out to dry. "He's too curious over his reflection for his own good sometimes" she muses softly as she streches out her legs and pats the ground beside her. "Come, sit. You look like you could do with a break" she grins it's not often she has company from another Weyr.

"Well, if'n ya get cold, sweets, just let me know, kay?" He says with a grin, moving to settle down next to her, offering a finger towards the little bronze, the other hand braced behind him as he leans back on it. "Ain't ever been one ta turn down a pretty girl's company either.." He says with a wink, and nods. "Dhon's occupied with the sands, so, ain't got no where ta be, fer once."

"I'm not that pretty" she says with a smile, Katsu hops onto L'ton's hand, he siddles up his arm to nuzzle him with a croon. "Well he's awful sociable today" she muses with a laugh, having delt with his devious phase she was unsure she would see such good behaviour so soon. "I know what you mean, the Infirm's been might busy of late. Glad for the time off."

"Now now, yer just saying that ta be modest.." L'ton says with a grin, and a wink, shaking his head. As the little bronze joins him, he chuckles, stroking him gently, before lifting him towards Karashi's shoulder, pushing her hair back to give him a place to sit. "Ah, uh, do 'pologize if'n Shellie's in a rather bad mood cause of me. It, weren't really my intention ta saddle her with three.."

Katsu chirps as he is replaced on Karashi's shoulder, he is not there for long as he hops down to peer into the water again, this time he clings to her skirt for good measure. Karashi has to cover her mouth with her sudden laugh, "Oh no. Last time I spoke to Shellie she was hoping they would be quite and not like her others. She didn't seem mad at all, then again it was rather late for us, Saige was up too, not surprising though"

"Well, Ah hope so ta, fer my sake. Dun want her coming after me in retaliation, t'would ruin my fun." A wink, and his gaze drops to look over her again, a smirk coming to his face before he looks back at her. "Saige ta? Shards, ya poor thing. Prolly shouldn't mention Ah was out here with ya, or they'll think ya'll be joining them.." But, his comment is paired with a leer.

Karashi laughs a little harder, "Don't worry.. I don't think I'll be joining them anytime soon." she muses softly, with a glance towards her beloved baby bronze who was growing up so quickly. "I don't think they'd be too worried for me" she admits with a smile, not many people were after seeing what she could do to tunnelsnakes.

"Pity…" He murmurs a little bit, looking her over again, shaking his head. "If'n ya ever change yer mind.." he gives her a wink, and a pat on the leg. "Ah'll be around til them eggs out there hatch." He grins, teasing her a little. "Apparently, tis hard ta resist a bit of bronzerider charm." Full of himself? Certainly!

Karashi rolls her eyes at his pat on her leg, "Pity is it?" she muses to herself with a slight chuckle. "So..How am I holding up to the old bronzerider charm then?" she asks with a sly wink at him, she enjoys teasing just as much. No denying it on her part either.

"Aye, tis a pity." He says with a grin, leaning a little, his hand sliding to rest behind her back. "Ah dunno, why dun ya tell me, Ah'm Ah getting anywhere?" He says with a wink right back, leaning a little more towards her. "Ah mean, ya haven't slapped me, or chased me off, so Ah figure Ah must be getting somewhere, right?"

Karashi thinks for a moment, hand under her chin to make it look like she really was thinking hard, "Well you get points for your charm, points for being the first guy to give me such an offer. But I have to take some away due to you probably populating half the Weyr with your seed." she grins and leans into his arm a little, she hmms for a moment, "so far though.. your doing alright" she winks at him with a laugh as Katsu drags himself out of the pond again up her skirt.

"Mm, not half the Weyr, maybe.. Maybe only a dozen…" A pause, he smirks, and he shakes his head. "Fine, maybe two dozen." He blushes a little bit, but winks never the less. "Good ta know, though, that Ah'm still in the black." He teases, his hand moving to wrap around her waist, fingers curling at her side as he takes her leaning as an invitation to move closer, even as he waggles the fingers of his other hand at the little bronze.

Karashi snickers softly at his blush and she leans close to place one hand on his cheek and smile at him, "You know your cuter when you blush" she says with a blush of her own, her new found boldness was no longer a suprise for her, but she was still getting used to the new confidence the Weyr has given her. Once again sopping wet, Katsu crawls onto her skirt and rolls on it, satifiably tangled in the material he settles down to nap.

"Mm, am Ah? Ah guess Ah should work on blushing more, if'n its gonna help my cause.." He says with a chuckle, turning his head to kiss at the palm of her hand, resting as it is on his cheek. His hand lifts from the bronze to her neck, and meeting her gaze for a moment, he leans confidently for a kiss.

"mmm maybe you should" Kar whispers softly, with a small giggle at his kiss to her palm. That tickles! as he leans in she smiles. "Just one" she warns softly as she licks her lips in anticipation of the kiss.

"Awww, just one?" He pouts a little, looking at her with wide eyes. "Ah guess Ah should make it count, then, hm?" He murmurs, his hand sliding up to the base of her neck, fingers sliding into her hair as his lips meet hers, softly at first, before he deepens it, fingers gently holding her.

Karashi leans into the kiss, ohh he was good! she finds herself admitting, she could not remember the last time she had been kissed like that. As she pulls back softly, she tilts her head back slightly for a better look of his face "mm..that was good" she admits as she licks her lips almost with wicked intention.

L'ton drops his hand to her neck, to her shoulder, as she pulls away, and he flicks his gaze back at her, a grin on his face. "Ah suppose its ta bad ya said only one.." He murmurs, teasing her, even as fingers drop to trace her collarbone, teasing her further.

Shadows are cast over them as some clouds roll in across the mid afternoon sky. "We should stop this" she whispers in a tone which says she doesn't want it to stop. Katsu was still sopping wet from his swim in the koi pond, of which Kar's skirt was currently draped into.

Keziah has escaped to the gardens for her break from serving meals. She's rubbing her arms a bit, and she thought lifting bales was hard work. Just holding the arm in one place gets real tiring. As she spots the couple she purses her lips a moment and is once more reminded that dang it, should should have taken an opportunity while she could. Before R'sul went all weird on her. She clears her throat a little, a small hint that she's there in the gardens and not exactly trying to be a voyeur.

Dhonzayth is on the Sands and L'ton is taking in some of the local sights, including one young healer who he's currently sitting with - flirting and kissing her - fingers tickling her side as she protests. "Why?" And then, there's a clearing of a throat, and L'ton is lifting his gaze, smirking at the look. "Hey sweets.." He says cheerfully. "Plenty of room.." A teasing wink, and he leaves his arm around Karashi.

Karashi gives him a playful shove with a laugh, her cheeks flushing red as Keziah happens upon them. "He's kidding. Finally got a break?" she asks with a grin, she knew the girl was busy with candidacy, she'd heard a fair bit about it from the others. "Oh.. This is L'ton, rider of Bronze Dhonzayth, he's here till the eggs hatch." glad she at least not only remembered his name but his dragon's name as well, usually she was horrendous with names.

Keziah arches a brow at L'ton and just shakes her head a little and then at Karashi's words, her eyes narrow a bit "So you're him." she remarks having never really seen the man before. But she's heard plenty over the terms. Then she tosses her head and shakes her head "Sorry, but I do feel I must decline. Being a candidate and all, I wouldn't wanna toe the line and all." she notes and then nods to Karashi "Yeah, was given a break during the lull between meals. I must say though, I certainly prefer serving to cooking it up though."

L'ton winks at Karashi, blowing her another kiss, grinning as she remembers his name. "Ain't 'xpecting no kisses, dun worry sweets. Not from a candidate. Yer Dhon's fer now, not mine." He chuckles as he reassures the stablemaster-turned candidate, and then glances back at the Healer for a moment. "Aren't you going to introduce me?"

"I just did you silly man, this is Keziah" Karashi says with a grin and a playful nudge, "Smart woman" she nods at Keziah's comment, smart woman indeed, and she was thankful for the interruption, her senses returning to as normal as her playful self could be. Normally she was more controlled but well none said you couldn't let you hair down every once in a while.

Keziah laughs brightly at Karashi and then grins at L'ton "Well, that's a good thing." she notes "Though I dunno that you'd get in all that much trouble." A thoughful look. "Never really thought about it and such." she notes and then shrugs. No big deal really. "

"Well, tis a pleasure ta meet ya, Keziah. Ah'm sure Dhon'll have his own hello fer ya, once yer 'llowed out on the Sands, ta." He smiles, nudging Karashi back, squeezing her side, and then patting the ground on the other side of him. "Ah promise sweets. Keziah, Ah won't bite. Tis yer break, ya deserve ta sit."

"If it makes you feel better I promise he won't bite" she grins at the young woman, as she nudges L'ton back playfully, her hand reaches around to tickle his sides as she does. "I'll have to go look at the eggs next time I'm free, I've seen three cluctches since I've been here, but missed seeing the hatchings. I just hope I'm not on duty again. Never seen a dragon hatching" she admits, that in all her twenty three turns she has seen clutches but never seen the hatchings.

Keziah snorts a little "I ain't worried about biting. I can bite back." She notes and flashes teeth and bites at the air and then move on in to settle down on the ground. She ain't worried. She's just been pokin'. "Well, I'll be sure to give him a proper bow and all.."

"Well, Ah shouldn't say that.. Ah may.." And then as Keziah bites at the air, he smirks further. "Not a bad thing, that.." He murumrs, grinning and winking, as he looks between the two of them, and then back at Karashi. "Well, we'll make sure ya see it. And, with Kilaueth's gonna go at some point befer Dhon's, ya've ta chances, ta."

"Don't even think about it" Karashi half scolds with mirth, she had seen that look before, not in his eyes but someone close to her. "Knowing my luck I'll miss them too… Missed seeing the impression of my sister and brother. Parents didn't, I did though" she admits, half wishing she tried to make the time and gone to see them stand.

Keziah snorts at L'ton and just rolls her eyes a bit. She glances over at Karashi "Were you got up in healer duties?" she asks curiously. She knows how busy the healers can be. Which is in general fine by her. Busy healers don't need to be bothered by her and such. So she doesn't feel guilty about not seeing them when she should at times.

L'ton winks at Karashi, teasing her a little bit. "What if'n Ah do?" He continues to flirt shamelessly, even as he shakes his head. "Nah, Ah'll run ta the infirmary and drag ya out myself, if'n Ah have ta." He says with a grin, and then looks sidelong at Keziah, listening.

Karashi laughs softly "You'll soon realize I'm more than just a healer" she grins wickedly back at him. To Keziah she sighs softly, "More like my studies, I suppose I could have acquired the time off if I really wanted too, but I was just too focused on work back then to care much for anything else. I haven't seen my parents since I was 12" She admits, realizing that she may have been too focused on work growing up to give family or anything for that matter a chance.

Keziah gives a nod to Karashi "I can understand that. Once I went into the craft, I didn't see much of my family either. But then, with a hold to take care of, they've not much free time either. Though the past few turns I've seen my mother more since my brothers been lending a hand more and more. I don't think it'll be too much longer before Da hands it over to him completely." she notes and then she smiles "You do need to come to these next ones.' she notes with a smile.

"Will Ah, sweets? Is that a threat, or a promise, cause Ah think that sounds sorta fun.." He murmusr with a wink, and then shakes his head at the two of them. "Well, if'n ya ever want a ride ta go see them, Ah'm sure we can manage ta take ya, or find someone ta." He glances then at Keziah nodding, slowly, even as his hand is reaching for Keziah's side, as if attempting to scoot her closer too. "Ain't talked ta my family in… fifteen turns. Ain't gonna start now." He mutters darkly, before he shakes his head, trying to lighten the mood.

Karashi laughs at him and dips to kiss his cheek before she stands and brushes herself off. Katsu clings to her skirt, which has a rather large wet patch down one side from his encounter with the pond. "Well it's been lovely chatting to you both, however duty calls and I would like to get out of these wet clothes before I catch a cold thanks to my little guy here" she rubs Katsu's head lovingly, just before she turns to leave she smiles at L'ton, "You never realise how much your family means to you till they're gone.. Go see them.. things might have changed for all you know." with a grin and a wink she's leaves the garden, humming a little tune as she does..

Keziah starts to lean in and then she catches herself and eyes L'ton and waggles her finger playfully at him "Uh uh." she smirks and keeps her seat and then theres a frown "Family that good huh?" she asks in understanding. She's seen some peoples family and sometimes it's best to just stay away from them. Scary people that they are. She waves to to Karashi "Take care of yourself." she calls out as the healer leaves and then she looks thoughful "Family can mean a lot, but only…" she shakes her head a little and then she hmms as she's left on her own with L'ton of all people. Still. She should be safe enough.

"Ah'll see ya around, Karashi, Ah'm sure. Dun forget ta get a good look at Dhon's eggs!" L'ton calls after the Healer as she excuses herself, pouting a little bit. And then as Keziah's waggling a finger, he pouts a little. "Just want a bit of contact, ain't gonna try anything, Ah swear." He says softly, shaking his head and shrugging. "They ain't mean nothing ta me, not what they do. Tis why Ah've got my own family." Extensive it is, too.

Extensive is certainly one word for it. Keziah regards L'ton thoughfully and then nods. No harm in leaning up against someone. "I guess I can understand the need for some contact." she says after a moment. "What do they do? If you don't mind me asking. If you do, you don't have to answer. I understand."

Its a loose arm that settles around Keziah, and nothing more than a little bit of leaning that follows - no wandering hands, no kisses, just.. contact. After a moment, he shakes his head. "They.. They just ain't fair. Dun like riders, dun think women have any right ta do what they want. They say there ain't no problem with hitting a girl.." A thought which causes him to wince.

Keziah listens quietly as she leans her head against L'ton "That's not right." she notes as his words give an insight into his character which is a sight better then she was figuring. But then she's only heard of his 'prolific' tendencies. "I can see why you would want to avoid them then. If they're all like that. Howe'd you end up with a conscience?" she asks curiously.

"It.. It ain't. Women deserve ta be loved, and adored, cause… They do all the real work fer us. Ain't no man any good without his woman." He murmurs softly, shaking his head, giving her a slight squeeze as she leans her head aginst him. "Ain't.. Ain't all. Just.. most. And.. they just think them women are their property, they ain't never had her taken away like Ah did."

Keziah listens and shakes her head somewhat as she listens "Is that why you're always in thick with flirtin' with the women? she asks and then lifts her head up a moment as the rest of the words filter through. "Taken away?" she asks with a frown "What do you mean taken away?"

"Y'all deserve ta know yer beautiful, and special." He says with a smile, lifting a hand to tap her nose. "And that we ain't all idiots, and some of us do notice ya.." He offers, tilting his head at her question, and grimacing a lil. "There.. There was a girl.. Pazi.. She.. She's my Zip's ma. But, they caught us and took her 'way. Ain't seen her but once since then, and her husband caught me 'fore ta long. Zip.. Zip's her ma's daughter fer sure, though."

Keziah eyes L'ton a moment and then snorts "Sometin's gotta be in the air. Least you're not some kid spoutin' off about beauty and all that rot all of a sudden. As if they'd just suddenly sprouted eyes and such." she remarks and then her face softens. "That can't be easy." she murmurs "Though I suppose iffen she was married to another man. Well, ain't much you can likely do about it."

"Only after they caught us. Said Ah weren't the right one, and so…" He shrugs, shaking his head. "Least Ah got my Zip, even if'n Ah had ta practically kidnap my own child." He mutters softly, and then looks back at her, making a bit of a face. "Dun it make ya feel better, though, ta know someone's noticed ya? That.. that ya ain't all 'lone? That.. maybe someone'll remember ya later on, like ya matter?" He says softly, dropping his gaze to his toes. So interesting.

Keziah frowns a little at that "That ain't right, though I know many a family still look to bettern their holds and such through marriage. Luckily mine own had no such ambition." A pause "I think they'd figured I was a lost cause for that anyways. I know me mother still thinks I'm a lost cause for marriage." she laughs brightly as she remembers some of the talks. "Least takin in Mirai has caused some of that to die down. But she's really wanting more grandkids and she's only one between my brother and I, though he's got more pressure to produce a male heir. Da's still a little old fashioned with that. He figures a girl wouldn't be strong enough to keep her husband from doing wrong with it." There's a thoughtful look as she regards L'ton "Is she happy with you? Zip that is?" She asks curiously and then she shrugs "I dunno. Makes me feel weird at times considerin' that a few turns ago, I'da loved it and such. But then I'd had m e eyes on some guys, but well. They didn't on me. I think I was just part of the background, just someone not anyone special. And now I've got these kids." A pause "Excuse me, younger guys who've been callin me beautiful and such. But never anyone me own age." she shrugs "I think they're just hopin' to score."

"Ain't sure why, but.. Ah guess it's fer the best. Ah.. Ah dun think she'd like the Weyr, dun think she'd like being with a dragonrider no how." He shakes his head with a soft sigh, and a smile. "Aye, she.. Ah mean, she's my lil Zip, but she's past sixteen now. All grown up, with a brown ta call her own, ta. She… She's done real good fer herself." He murmurs, and then glances at Keziah, rubbing her shoulder for a brief moment. "Ah promise ya, miss, Ah ain't just trying ta get in yer pants, 'specially not with ya hoping ta Impress. Ah mean what Ah say.."

Keziah hmms a little "Some ain't cut out for it, that's fer sure. Mother, she's never real comfortable here, but then she's not generally real comfortable with a lot of people." There's a thoughful pause and then a headshake "Impressed did she? I bet that makes ya right proud." she notes with a smile and then she can't help but chuckle as she smiles brightly at him "Well, I should hope not. I'd figure ya to have more sense in your head than that. But I wasn't even thinkin' bought you. Twas the others. It's all you're beautiful how bout we go back to your place or my place etc." she snorts. "What ever happend to takin' time and all and gettin' to know one another?"

"Ah think she'd be downright frightened, ta be honest. Ah mean.. Ah was sure they was gonna eat me, when my cousins and Ah first got ta Ista. T'was.. T'wasn't good." He shakes his head, blushing a bit at the admittance he didn't expect to make. "Aye, one of Dhon's own, ta. My lil girl's got one of his lil boy's.." He brightens up considerably at that fact, and then winks at Keziah. "Now, now, Ah'm sure ya know Ah ain't got no problems wandering and ending up in bed with someone, just fer fun, but.. it tends ta be someone Ah prolly ain't gonna see 'gain." Just.. in case.

Keziah blinks at that last bit and then shakes her head and then she looks thoughful and rolls her eyes and leaves it at that. She does smile at that proud look he had. "Well, that is somethin' special indeed. What's his name?" she asks curiously. "Fraid I dun keep up much with Istan riders." Could be hazardous to ones health after all.

L'ton chuckles as she rolls her eyes, giving her a bit of a squeeze, and a wink. "Ain't no different than dealing with winning a flight. Ah mean, if'n they're willing and Ah'm willing.." he shrugs. "But, Ah dun just.. expect that ta happen." He feels the need to elaborate, before grinning and nodding. "Aye, Adereth. Real pretty brown, ta, they graduate soon." He contemplates. "Ah wonder if'n they'd let me take some of ya ta the graduation, Ah mean.. ain't no where close ta them eggs hatching yet.."

Keziah hmms a little and nods "Yeah, flights a whole nother kettle of fish. I've been in a Weyr long enough to know that. But outside a flight and all." she shakes her head "Nah, I'd prefer to know them a bit more." she hmms a little "And have a little bit older than fifteen or some such." she shakes her head a bit at that "That jsut feels, so wrong 'n all." There's a thoughful look at L'ton "That might be kinda fun." Then a pause "How hot an humid would it be there and all during?" she asks with a wrinkle of her nose.

Keziah shudders a little "On the beach? That's just asking fer a burn. All that sun glaring down onto the sand and it absorbin' I mean they're black and all right?" she asks and then hmms "Any shade? Maybe I can bring an open sided tent or somethin." she looks thoughful "But a swim in warm waters might be real nice. Course here's real nice too in comparison to Reaches." she adds with a smirk. "Glad I ain't the only one to think it bein' to young. And here they're trying to convince me to give 'em a chance. Nearly did too, but again, didn't feel right. Though I'm almost sorry now." she shakes her head at herself. "It's no wonder I ain't settled down with anyone. Can't make up my mind."

"Ah'm sure they'll take care of all that. Ah ain't totally sure of what's going on - ain't my butt that's gotta plan it." A chuckle, and he nods. "Ain't no way ya'll get me ta the 'reaches. No way, no how." He protests, perhaps a bit loudly, before he's patting her shoulder. "Yer young, yet, ya got plenty of time, ya know?" He murmurs with a chuckle. "And, well, they'll grow up, and then they won't seem so young no more."

Keziah grins "Yeah, it'd be a bit much to ask you to coordinate while yer out here and all." she notes and then can't help but laugh "Ahh, Reaches is fun. Beautiful in the summer up in the mountains. I loved being out with the herd, just walkin' from site to site. Only a few times I was a bit worried and such. Snow pack was meltin' a little too quickly and there'd be some avalanches. Narrowly missed on. If I'da left earlier in the morn' instead of being bad and sleepin' in. I'd likely have made the site I was hittin' for. Avalance hit it for I got there." She eyes L'ton again "I dunno iffen I wanna see aome of 'em grown up. They be bad enough now. I can only imagine later on." she snorts "Yeah, I gots time and all." she shrugs "most the time I don't think about it. Hapy enough with the critters, and I've Mirai. Don't need one of me own."

"Ta shardin' cold, even in the summer. Give me my beaches and my sunshine, they can keep their blasted snow." he says with a shudder, and another shake of his head. "Glad ya made it out alright, but 'gain, why there ain't no way ya could catch me out there." He says with a snort. And then, he chuckles, with a teasing wink. "Not all of us grow up ta be horrible, some of us grow out of it. Ah know Ah ain't the best example, but.."

Keziah just cracks up laughing "No, yer not the best. Your reputation certainly does proceed you far and wide." she notes with a laugh and leans her head back against him "I must say though, you're more amusin' then I'da figured you for and you ain't half bad. But if rumour is true and you can get pregnant just by being in close proximity. I know how to geld real well." she states with a smirk. "Snow's fun though. Lots of fun to play in." Our shove down peoples clothes, but that's besides the point.

"Well, comes with the dragon, Ah swear.." He says with a chuckle, lightly rubbing her arm as she leans against him with a sigh. "Aye, Ah think sometimes it gets the best of me, and well, that ain't no fun." He makes a face, and then winks. "Well, if'n it makes ya feel any better, all the kids Ah know about definitely came 'bout the normal way."

Keziah hehs a little "But that's whats fun about things. Getting the best of someone sometimes." she notes and then chuckles "Well, that's good to know then. Course, it'd be an interesting thing if somethin' like that could happen. Specially iffen it could get used on critters. Certainly save on some damages nor would ya have to mess around with artificially doin' it." she ponders the implications and then shakes her head "Be too dang easy though I think to get the wrong breedin's"

"Well, Ah hope Ah surprised ya at least." He says with a grin, shaking his head and winking, his hand squeezing her arm. "Ah'll leave ya ta figure out the possibilities, and ta figure out how ta make sure ya dun get no crossing of some sorta ovine with one of 'em racing runners." He says, teasingly. "Dhon's antsy, gonna take him up fer a bit, ta see if'n he calms down." A pat on her shoulder and he slowly gets to his feet, brushing off his pants. "Ah'll see ya 'round, candidate, and best of luck."

"Well, you just reminded me that it's not always good to be listenin' to rumours and all. And thanks fer the luck. Either way I'll be good."

L'ton chuckles, shaking his head. "Dun mean nothing ta me. My cousin maybe, but Ah'll stick ta lil pieces of wood." A wink, and a waggle of his fingers, and he's heading out of the garden at a jog. "See ya soon, Ah'm sure, Kezia'" He calls back before he disappears.
