Tinyplots

Tinyplot guidelines:

A tinyplot is (usually) a series of scenes played out over a stretch of time that are connected by some central plot element. This can be as simple as a blizzard or flood - or as complex as conflicting Weyr and Hold politics. These can be staff-run or player-run, but here are some guidelines for running tinyplots in Xanadu.

1. People should be ASKED to be in your plot or allowed to jump in voluntarily. If you need a Crafter, particularly a Healer, make sure they are available first. You cannot force someone to participate. Any injury, theft or damage to a character can ONLY occur with that person's permission.

2. If you have ideas for a TP or would would like to run one, please @mail the TP Committee and CC to the current Admin. ALL tinyplots are to be cleared by the Committee, even if you wish to run it yourself and ESPECIALLY if it is going to affect the entire Weyr.

3. TPs don't have to be something negative! Try and remember this, we love to see some neutral or even happy TPs.

Tinyplots are always encouraged and welcomed. The Tinyplot Committee is here to to ensure that TPs don't clash and also, on occasion, to point out the possible consequences of something. Their job is to coordinate and ensure plots are appropriate to the theme and the situation on the game. Be aware that your TP idea might possibly be declined.

  • It is suggested that if your TP is one that you would post to the bboards, it is wise to talk to the staff. Part of this is to ensure that TPs don't clash and also, on occasion, to point out the possible consequences of something.
  • TPs are encouraged and welcomed, *always*. The job of the staff is to co-ordinate and ensure TPs are appropriate to the theme and to the situation on the game.
