This is a PSA just to say that Pern's server is suckier than my internet provider! … And any of you who've rped with me on those bad days knows how sucky my ISP can be! XD I swear I've never played on a game that went down so often! Haha Have the admin folk ever thought of switching servers or whatever it's called that keeps a game up?

I don't pretend to know anything about how these things work, cuz I don't. ;)

Oh well. At least Pern being down is making me do some stuff since I don't lay on any other games. Have a good day everyone! Hopefully see you sometime later for some rptime! =D

I just saw this post, so sorry for the delay.

All of the game admin have wished, discussed, bemoaned and gnashed teeth about the server lagging and going down so frequently. The problem is that Mynti owns both the game AND the (anitquated) server equipment and she isn't about to hand over that to anyone anytime soon. We've asked - it's been offered. PernWorld is her baby and she clings even though she's barely involved anymore. She pays the bills and owns the rights to PW. Sad, isn't it? XD
