Xanadu Weyr - Clearing(#9292RJs)
A wide clearing stretches from east to west, the ground packed hard although grass grows across most of it. Trees are strictly forbidden in this space, their danger to the constant draconic traffic reason enough to banish them to the forest that creates a this and sharp border to the north. Where the ground is less trampled, tiny flowers poke their delicate heads out from their shaded hiding places with upturned petals to wave to whoever may be looking.
The cliff looms imposingly on three sides, stretching upwards all the way up the side of the mountain where, high above, Xanadu's Star Stones and the ever present watchdragon sit on a lonely peak. Directly south is a massive tunnel, fully wide enough for even the largest dragon to fly down. Southeast are wide steps leading up to the Caverns and eastwards is the large entrance to the Infirmary. Somewhat north of the Infirmary is a human sized archway that has a frequent quantity of traffic — it leads to the Tavern. Southwest lies the low ledges currently belonging to Xanadu's queens while north and west a broad path cut by the side of the cliff leads to the Feeding Grounds and due north is the spacious trail that leads to the rest of the Weyr.

Dropped.

It's afternoon, on a nice day with a few scattered clouds drifting through the sky. Out of the caverns is wandering the Beastcrafter turned Candidate known as Jeniosa, two sleepy pups in her arms, the largest male of the litter and the smallest male of the litter, apparently she's taken them out of Iforian's hands for the moment. The pups are recently fed and are lazily full for the moment, resulting in surprisingly calm little ones. Silver-blue eyes lift towards a landing dragon nearby, a bright almost blinding green in colouration, and a smile starts to curve her lips as she hurries over. "J'ios!" She waits impatiently for the rider to dismount, sliding his helmet and goggles off to tuck them against the straps. "Hey lil Sis, what's up?"

Fl'ynn and dragon are already here, taking up a bit of space over there actually. Kagenaith rests upon his laurels, the last fourth of his tail flicking back and forth in a pleased, yet idle motion. The blue's neck is curved downwards, head dropped so he and Fl'ynn can have some eyecontact. "So, It's…" *Squirel!* Green approaches and Kagenaith is looking after, fanning wings of lavender sky and crooning a welcoming note. Fl'ynn near to loses his own head as his dragon moves, 'causing the rider to step back a pace or two. Eyes to the newcomer, "Welcome to Xanadu."

Rimath gives a soft warble of greeting to the cute little blue, flipping her wings to her back primly. Jeniosa giggles as the taller man grabs her for a hug and noogie. "Stoppit!" She squeals. And then she's wiggling away from the greenrider's grip. "Ooh, J'ios, come meet my friend." And she uses Fl'ynn as a distraction to get away from brotherly tousling. "Fl'ynn, this is my big brother J'ios. J'ios, this is Fl'ynn, his Kagenaith is the one who searched me." J'ios nods with a grin. "Well met, Fl'ynn, and High Reaches duties to her and her queens." He offers a graceful bow.

Kagenaith is, indeed, cute. His wings tuck back to his sides, neat as can be. Still sitting quite at attention, the blue watches her with pleased interest, nostrils flicking with the scents of a different place. Fl'ynn grins wryly, gives the blue a pat, and turns to the others. It is the rider who now has a rather appreciative gaze for the pairing, interest just as obvious. "A pleasure," he offers, his path a short one. "A friend though? I'm honored." Smile grows even wider. "Unfortunately, I'm the one who stole your sister off. Guilty."

Jeniosa giggles quietly, "Well, you're certainly not an enemy, so therefore you must be a friend, right?" The young woman winks at bluerider. Rimath continues to watch the blue, warbling softly every now and then. J'ios glances from lil sis to bluerider and chuckles. "Well, 'tis about time she got out of that hut of hers anyway." And then the tall greenrider glances to the pups in Jeniosa's arms. "What's this, then, have ya traded felines for canines?" The pups in Jen's arm wiggle a little, the larger one giving a soft little attempted bark sound. "These are our pups, Iforian's and mine. We found them out by the clock tower and we're gonna take care of them until we can find them homes." Jeniosa grins at Fl'ynn. "I still think you should take this one Fl'ynn." And she offers the larger male pup towards the bluerider.

Fl'ynn shakes his head at Jen's words. "Ah, I've already got my hands full with one. I don't need another one to clean up after. And when I yell at the kids to keep off the grass, kinda hard to look serious when I've a canine dropping treats all over it." Honestly, he is full of excuses. Piles and piles of them. He could go on forever. "Good to see though that the dragons seem to find your family interesting," he notes, his gaze still appreciative in passing from one to another. "And I guess I do too."

Jeniosa pouts, hopefully cutely, at the bluerider. "Aww, but he's cute. And we can't keep them all." J'ios is grinning at the bluerider. "She'll have ya takin' one, y'believe me. She's pawned off a bunch of her feline kittens on the poor residents of Eastern. 'Tis the trader blood in her y'know." Jeniosa pokes at her brother's side a little. "I have not, I only gave them to the people who seemed interested." And the candidate is still holding the pup out to the bluerider. "I saw you whispering sweet nothings to him when we first found him." And then Fl'ynn's comments about her family are sinking in and she blushes a little. "Well, J'ios is definitely interesting, not too sure I am though."

Fl'ynn just sorta pretend she doesn't see that puppy being offered his way. Nope, he'll look at that tall greenrider, grinning and dimpling away. "I was just imparting some wise words." See, he is wise in his old age. Really. Truly. Seriously. "Now, don't count yourself so short. You both look very interesting to me and I wouldn't mind to get to know you better." Did that sound as smarmy as he was hoping it didn't? It is only belatedly that the bluerider pauses, glances to the side, and then breaks out into laughter. "Sorry. I… yeah."

Jeniosa's pout doesn't work? Awww. The candidate starts to say something in response to the wise words, but decides against whatever it is she was going to say as she glances at her brother, and for some reason she's blushing even more now. J'ios just shakes his head at his sister, looking between Jen and Fl'ynn, and then he chuckles as Jen blushes. "Well, I'm spoken for, unfortunately, though I'm sure Jen here would love to get to know you better." Another poke from petite candidate to tall greenrider. "J'ios!" Ohmygosh she's gonna die! Ooh, look, bluerider's laughing? "What's so funny?" She asks of bluerider, J'ios also arches a brow lightly at Fl'ynn. "Aye, do share th'joke?" Please?

"Just at my own expense," Fl'ynn admits, his lips twisting rather ruefully. "Unfortunately," he echoes, smile still very much present. "I've more a feeling your sister would rather I get to know that dog in her hands." Yes, the one he has been very diligently trying to ignore. He'll stop being impolite and talking about the poor girl as if she isn't there. "Has she always pouted like that?" he asks of the greenrider, smile going more sly now.

J'ios laughs, "Oh, she's got herself a good pout, you'd better watch out." Greenrider gives a wink as Jeniosa just..sticks her tongue out at him, so mature. "But, you know, the pup's cute, and you're cute and Kagenaith is cute, you'd make such an adorable little group." Jeniosa's buttering up or something, if pouting doesn't work, try flattery. The candidate does give up after a little bit more, though, bringing the pup back against her chest lightly before it can start wiggling and crying from being away from body warmth.

Fl'ynn laughs, shaking his head slightly from side to side, then he is drawling out rather slowly, "Annnnnnnnnd… on that note, I'm thinking that things are starting to take a rather odd turn." He shifts an uncertain glance at J'ios, almost expecting to get decked by some kind of protective older brother (but he has yet to get the hint yet). "Maybe your brother will take it. Or Matrin? Have you tried Matrin yet?" Anyone but him. He does start for Kagenaith -a dragon quite pleased to be in the presence of that northern green. Poke. Dragon startles. Honks.

Jeniosa oohs, she could pawn one off on J'ios, hmm. "Well, if you change your mind, you know where to find us." jeniosa grins. "I've gotta get them back to the litter, J'ios, I will be back." She grins then turns to bluerider, to give a brief little smile. J'ios just chuckles and shakes hs head at his sister, no overprotective older brother here, at least not yet.
