Cautious Candidates

It was mostly dark when the brown dragon landed and deposited his group of five new candidates for the weyr. The group were barely settled in the barracks when the rider left once more, more or less leaving them to find their own way around. It seems the rider pair had cleaned out a small farm in the foothills, and though the group are quite happy to do their chores they seem to keep very much to their own little clique.

There's been some comments that they seem almost scared of the other residents, though with recent happenings a certain amount of caution is not entirely unexpected.
