End to the Rains

After just a little over a month of steady rains, the skies have finally cleared, leaving behind standing water and very soggy soil. The waters that had risen along the coastal road and the river in the meadow will take some time to recede and of course the soil will be some time drying out. But for now the rains seem to be over.
