Cats and Dogs

It's raining. Raining hard and has been for several days now from leaden skies. Rives and creeks are now swollen and just beginning to overflow their banks while puddles everywhere grow larger and begin to merge. Those folks with cottages in the meadow closest to the river that runs through it may find the rising waters creeping closer to their doorsteps. Folks living along the low-lying coastal Road also may find the same problem, while anyone with any sort of leaky roof will surely be aware of roof-mending needs by now.
