The wintry peace of the Weyr at night was shattered by draconic screams. Somehow, the sands had malfunctioned and begun to burn instead of warm. Panic ensued, and the eggs were evacuated to the incubators in the Dragonhealers' Annex. As morning dawns, two questions are left.
