A Different Man

After Kilaueth's flight, which Kinseth chased in, and lost, X'hil took himself off to the tavern and got himself thoroughly drunk. He was getting increasingly rowdy, looking like he was spoiling for a fight, until his foster mother happened by, and proceeded to escort the weyrsecond out as though he were a disobedient child. Early the next morning Kinseth was seen leaving the Weyr, with his hungover rider slumped on his back. Wherever they went, it can't have been too far, as the bronze flew straight rather than going between. Now, a month later, the pair have returned, and X'hil certainly seems better for his absence, though a bit on the quiet side.
