A Watchful Eye

Ever since the team led by Thea and X'hil returned from the Southern Barrier Range, riders have found themselves on sweeps over the normally ignored area, and those particularly unlucky have found themselves posted to watch over a large hole in the ground with directions to returned immediately should they find or see anything.

The time for Lusiath's clutching has now come and past, leaving the Weyr leadership to attempt to determine what has happened - has the gold simply not clutched? Have they miscounted the days? Or has the gold found somewhere else to bring her eggs into this world.

One thing is for certain, the search continues. No one, it seems, wishes for Kefai to have any more riders than he already does.
